For
centuries, outstanding civic and domestic designs have lent on the
cylindrical shape of the column for structural and aesthetic
application. Today, Columns combine the timeless shape of the column
with modern methods and materials. We now have 2 column shapes and
seventeen accessories, all crafted in smooth, long- lasting and low-
maintenance, creating a comprehensive range with renewed relevance for
the 21st Century.
Inside
or out, there is now a column profile to enhance and define designs
from classic to contemporary, elaborate to sparse. Add one or more
accessories and create a design element that is as individual as the
project join up it self.
The Fibaloy Architectural Column completes
the range. This smooth cylinder is available in a range of diameters
and in standard lengths of 2.75m and 4m that can be cut or joined
together as needed. Special joiners create a consistant, seamless
length.
Factory
production ensures Architectural Column is manufactured to precise,
uniform dimensions. The columns can be split and re-assembled
around unsightly services to conceal them and create interesting design
details.
The
smooth surfaces of all Architectural Columns accept a range of surface
finishes and textures.
Square Columns are presently available
in kits or can be installed by an Approved Installer. The square
columns produce a modern style which blends with texture finishes. The
columns come in 230 and 300mm.
Fibaloy Architectural column can be used in many load -
bearing applications, without the need for in - fill or additional
posts, saving time and money. They can be erected on site without
formwork, saving construction time, labour and materials. Where they
are required to support a heavier load, all four styles of
Architectural Columns can be adapted by way of design criteria.
