Guardian Building Services recently completed its first Hebel Profile project for local builder King Homes in Gledswood Hills, NSW. The Hebel Profile products give the appearance of a multi-material façade which is attractive and sophisticated and most importantly provides the benefits of CSR Hebel.
As with all firsts, the team encountered a few challenges including the need to change the original installation technique to a mechanical fixing method on the fly but in true Guardian style, it was addressed and overcome in no time.
A smooth texture system was applied to assist with the connection of these profiles which are installed over the finished render, texture and paint.
We would like to thank King Homes for the opportunity to use their display home for the trial. We are thrilled with the better than expected result.
THE DETAIL
Here is what our involvement in the project entailed:
Supply and installation of Hebel External Walls (ground and first floor) with Hebel Profile
Supply and installation of Render and Texture System
Supply and installation of 1 Coat Paint System
The entire job was completed in 9 days over a 3-week period
